Over the course of the last couple weeks a flurry of videos have made their way onto YouTube, all parroting the information released on a recent Stanimal interview with Generation Iron. While I don’t fault the network for speaking with Shawn Rhoden’s longtime friend, training partner, and roommate, I don’t know that much information was discovered. We all knew, or suspected, that Shawn passed as a result of a heart attack. IFBB Pro, Mr. USA Nick “3D” Trigili is on the rise. His channel is blowing up, his tips are second to none, and his view counts are going through the roof. Comments are up, likes are up, and just around 50% of his views are coming from subscribed viewers. This means he can still grow substantially more. His sponsors have changed from Savior to Chicken Pound to Old School Labs, though, he may be working with all of them. One thing’s for sure, he seems to be upping his game every time I check out the channel. In fact, he rarely reads my DM’s anymore, but I get it, he’s super busy and I’m happy for him.

Nick Walker Blocked Me?!?!

Yes, unfortunately the great Nick Walker dubbed “The Mutant” for carrying darn near 300lbs of muscle, has blocked your ole buddy Christian Duque, for being an objective journalist. In all my years covering bodybuilding, I could count the top pro’s that have blocked me on one hand. There’s Phil Heath, and there’s Nick Walker. No other top bodybuilder has ever done that. And believe you me, there’s bodybuilders that I’ve grilled, I mean really put on the spot, but none have blocked me. I have been blocked by other top bodybuilders, but many years after their best years were behind them. And even these grumpy has-beens don’t keep me blocked for long.
