Dexter “The Blade” Jackson is the winningest pro in the sport of bodybuilding. Having won the 2008 Mr. Olympia, the Masters Olympia, 9 Arnold Classic titles totaling nearly 40 pro titles, his reign of dominance was unlike any other in the sport. The fact that at 50 years of age he nearly won the 2020 Arnold Classic was remarkable. I mean anyone who saw the contest knows that he pushed William “The Conqueror” Bonac to the limit. This was the show where Dexter decimated Big Ramy, who would go onto win the Mr. O six months later.

Wellness Competitor Fights Off Attacker

Wellness competitor Nashali Alma has gone viral for a video showing her fighting off an attacker at her apartment complex gym. It’s unclear if the assailant, Xavier Thomas-Jones, resided in the complex or not, but Alma states she let him in. This is very common in gyms of this sort as residents leave their keycards at home or misplace them. I’ve let other residents into my complex’s gym before. It happens.

The Last Great Bodybuilding Rivalry?

Who can forget bodybuilding in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006? Those were the years that gave us perhaps the best rivalry in the sport. It was an ongoing battle between, arguably, the greatest of all time Ronnie Coleman and one of the most persistent challengers ever, Jay Cutler. Both guys were working class heroes to the core. One was a police officer from the sweltering Texas heat and another came from a farm background across the country in New England.
