H.I.I.T. Training: New Research

by Matt Weik

We live in a society that believes if a little yields a good result, then more would yield an even better result. But more times than not, this isn’t the case. And actually, that kind of thinking can get you in a lot of trouble in certain situations. Just look at how many lawsuits have been filed over the years because someone used that mentality with their fat burners or stimulant products – winding up in the hospital because they couldn’t follow directions!

Are Anabolic Steroids Truly Anti Aging?

by Josh Hodnik

Aging is a process that is unavoidable, and people have been searching for that elixir or fountain of youth since the beginning of time. Let’s face it, people don’t like getting old. Break Through Muscle Building Plateaus

by Josh Hodnik

Many of us can easily recall a time when everything regarding our training, diet, and supplementation seemed to come together just right. We were consistently rewarded with muscle and strength gains for our hard fought battles in the gym. This left us content, happy, and comfortable in the world of muscle building. New Research on Joints

by Matt Weik

When it comes to sports injuries, most occur from wear and tear as well as damage done directly to our ligaments and tendons due to force exerted on the body either by another competitor or the playing field itself. The amount of stress and demand put on our joints and ligaments is sometimes too great and injuries such as tears can occur. While our kids might say there’s always time for Jell-O, athletes unfortunately don’t have time to be sidelined with injuries. With the help of a gelatin supplement, they might be able to continue to hit it hard in the gym as well as the playing field.

by Matt Weik

This article is honestly going to be mostly a rant with me standing on top of my soapbox. There will be profanities—many of them to be exact. But we need to take a long hard look at this industry we all play in—this gigantic fitness and supplement industry sandbox. Supplement Brands: Adapting to Female Demand

by Matt Weik

In an industry loaded with well-built men, the ladies often get the short end of the stick when it comes to nutritional supplements. In fact, many female athletes avoid supplements all together due to male-minded branding, while others don’t seem to mind if a tub of protein has a skull on the label. There’s definitely been a shift over the years as more females enter the sports nutrition space in search of products and ingredients to fit their specific needs.
