MIXED RESPONSES TO KAI GREENE GOING VEGAN

by Christian Duque

Kai Greene remains one of the most popular bodybuilders in the world. He’s a guy who won every title imaginable, with the exception of the Olympia, and had the career of ten men. Even at the height of 7x Mr. Olympia Phil Heath’s reign, Kai was aways more popular. So why was that? The reality of the matter is that Kai was popular, loved, and respected because he was real. If you remember his videos with Palumbo, Pulcinella, and the various magazines, The Predator wasn’t a Hollywood jetsetter, he didn’t live large, he was a guy who actually struggled.

10 WAYS BODYBUILDING CAN MAKE YOU A BETTER PERSON

by Matt Weik

Many of us in the industry already know the ways bodybuilding can make you a better person. However, for those on the outside looking in, all they see are a bunch of meatheads who pick things up and put them down and who consume a metric ton of protein on a daily basis. We hear all of the stereotypes from bodybuilders being dumb, to being conceited, and everything else you want to throw our way. BRANDON CURRY: THE NEXT BODYBUILDER IN THE VALUETAINMENT HOT SEAT

by Matt Weik

A few weeks ago, Dorian Yates sat down with Patrick Bet-David on his Valuetainment YouTube platform and many thought Dorian threw some shade at Brandon Curry while others thought it was justified. I’m not here to pick sides but a couple of weeks ago, Patrick had Brandon Curry on his show to talk everything Olympia, bodybuilding, life, and of course the comments that came out of Dorian’s mouth. Patrick actually sent me a text the night before the interview went live to give me a heads up.

BODYBUILDING VS. POWERLIFTING

by Geoff Roberts

Bodybuilding vs powerlifting is a topic which has been discussed and bantered over for years. In regards to strength, I do think it is a much closer contest than the names imply. I’ve compared the strength of bodybuilders to that of powerlifters in the past and suffered a tsunami of angry feedback from the powerlifting community, of which I am a member, ironically enough. Here we go again.
