ROELLY WINKLAAR PULLS OUT OF 2020 ARNOLD CLASSIC: WHAT’S HIS NEXT MOVE?

by Matt Weik

The 2020 bodybuilding season is underway and already there have been some shakeups that have bodybuilding fans’ jaws dropping. The first one that I reported on was the fact that the IFBB has revoked Shawn Rhoden’s IFBB pro card and has told him he cannot compete in any IFBB sanctioned contests until his legal matter is over. With that being said, I can only assume that if found guilty, he may never get his IFBB pro status back. But in this article, I specifically want to dive deep into the latest news regarding Roelly Winklaar pulling out of the 2020 Arnold Classic.

NICK TRIGILI VEHEMENTLY DISAGREES WITH TONY HUGE

em>by Christian Duque

IFBB Pro, Mr. USA Nick Trigili went on record yesterday, taking Tony Huge to task on a new video. I personally, won’t call him Dr. only because he’s not an MD and as a JD, I’d never expect anyone to call me doctor. That being said, it’s a cute marketing tactic, if anything else. And that’s what most of Huge’s schtick might be, particularly with his latest round of promo for the upcoming Generation Iron follow-up, Enhanced 2, which showcases Tony’s take on experimental supplementation while employing various publicity angles, from catchphrases, humor, and the cameo appearances of those larger than life – both physically and/or in terms of social media fanfare. Rest assured, this may seem like a DIY, everyday type lifestyle, but it’s also one I’m sure is rich in production value.

COULD SHAQUILLE O’NEAL HELP MAKE THE 2020 OLYMPIA THE BIGGEST YET?

by Matt Weik

The 2019 Mr. Olympia competition exploded – despite what seemed like insurmountable odds. In 2019 we didn’t see Phil Heath, Shawn Rhoden, Flex Lewis, Shawn Rhoden, or Big Ramy, yet they sold out the arena. I’m not sure what magic Dan Solomon brought to the show but I’m going to hire him to go over to my bank and do the same magic with my accounts. And as if things couldn’t get any bigger, Dan brings the biggest shock to the 2020 Mr. Olympia in the shape of a 7’1”, 324-pound NBA Hall of Famer – Shaquille O’Neal, who will be the 2020 Honorary Olympia Weekend Ambassador.

THE BATTLE OVER BREAKFAST

by Christian Duque

It seems there’s a war of theories between Mark Wahlberg and Dr. Oz on Instagram that’s rocked even the world of bodybuilding gurus. In fact, even David Palumbo of RxMuscle weighed in from their Cape Coral newsdesk. The truth is, this debate is bigger than the latest two influencers to battle over it. Intermittent fasting works, with countless success stories to date; it’s a diet choice I’ve adhered to for over six months and quite frankly, it’s the only thing that’s worked for me.

RONNIE COLEMAN GETS HIP REPLACEMENT

by Christian Duque

If ever there were an indomitable spirit in the sport of bodybuilding, it would be the King, the G.O.A.T., 8x Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman. After eight consecutive wins at the Mr. Olympia, Coleman made sure to come back in 2007, taking a respectable 4th place, before retiring from active competing. Although he may have left the stage, he never stopped training with the intensity of the best in the world.

DUNKIN’ AND SNOOP DOGG PUSH ESTROGEN SANDWICH ON SLICES OF DIABETES

by Matt Weik

Dunkin’ Dunkin’ Dunkin’… what are we going to do with you? All this time I thought we had a great relationship, but we’re going to have to break up now. Ok, all joking aside, I love me some Dunkin’ coffee in the morning. They are way faster than Starbucks and the taste is a million times better than any overpriced Starbucks beverage out there. But honestly, WTF are you thinking with your latest sandwich?

2020 WILL BE THE MOST EXCITING YEAR FOR BODYBUILDING FANS

by Matt Weik

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that 2020 is going to absolutely be the most exciting year for you if you’re a bodybuilding fan. Over the years we have seen the disappearance of Kai Greene, the death of bodybuilders, the dethroning of Phil, the surgery struggles and rehab of Flex Wheeler and Ronnie Coleman, and the legal issues with Shawn Rhoden. I’m ready to move on from that and when you make your way through the forest and see the light of walking into 2020 with a fresh start, this is looking to be one hell of a bodybuilding season.

ROELLY WINKLAAR MADE THE RIGHT MOVE

by Christian Duque

Some see bodybuilding as a game of checkers, but I’m more inclined to see it as chess. There’s a great deal of strategy at play. Some competitors get so obsessed with competing, so driven to win, that they burn themselves out in the process. Every contest, especially as an IFBB Pro League Pro, warrants your best. You’re part of a select few who have battled through the NPC and NPC Worldwide to get that coveted card. It’s the only card that matters – it’s the only card that gets you to the Mr. Olympia – the Superbowl of Bodybuilding.
