DEXTER JACKSON MAY NOT CALL THE OLYMPIA HIS FAREWELL SHOW

by Matt Weik

I’m a huge fan of Patrick Bet-David and his YouTube channel, Valuetainment as he puts out a ton of great content about business and entrepreneurship. That being said, over the last year, he’s been dabbling in the bodybuilding space due to his love of the sport. He, himself, wanted to be a bodybuilder when he was younger and is now interviewing various bodybuilders like Ronnie Coleman, Dorian Yates, Shawn Ray, Brandon Curry, and the most recent being Dexter Jackson.

WORLD FAMOUS STRONGMEN TO TRY BODYBUILDING?

by Christian Duque

The worlds of strongman and bodybuilding were buzzing as Brian Shaw’s decision to throw his hat into bodybuilding went viral. Towering at 6’8, the 4x World’s Strongest Man, isn’t about to shy away from a challenge. Shaw, who is very active on social media, has competed against 2017 World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall for years. Hall, who stands at 6’3, seems up for the challenge, but the only question is, can either of these guys truly transform their physiques to that of famed strongman/bodybuilder Larry Wheels.

LOOKING TO HAVE SOME SUPPLEMENT FUN THIS EASTER?

by Matt Weik

The holidays tend to be a time where people are a little more lackadaisical with their nutrition. Delicious desserts and chocolates seem to find their way onto your plate and before you know it, the scale starts creeping up. And when it comes to Easter, this holiday is no exception. You have chocolate eggs, peanut butter eggs, chocolate bunnies, marshmallow peeps, you name it. While tasty, all are full of unhelpful calories and sugar.

BODYBUILDING SUPERSTARS USING INSTAGRAM LIVE TO KEEP IN TOUCH

by Christian Duque

The sport of bodybuilding is one where the reigning Mr. Olympia sets the tone for everything, from the type of physique that’s desired by most, to the way the sport is grown, to the general vibe in the industry. Our current Mr. Olympia is Brandon Curry and he’s doing an absolutely fantastic job traveling the world, talking to the fans, and making sure to keep everyone well-informed of the many things he’s doing. Brandon is also a huge family man, sharing glimpses of that with the world. There’s no question the champ separates the two worlds, which is key to maintaining harmony in life, but he also shares just enough to inspire bodybuilders to not neglect their loved ones.

IS WILLIAM BONAC PROVING TO THE INDUSTRY THAT GURUS ARE WORTHLESS?

by Matt Weik

If you’ve been following William Bonac, you would have seen the video (or at least heard) of the beef between him and his former coach Neil “Yoda” Hill. He made it apparent in his 2019 video that he doesn’t think all too highly of Neil. In the video, he mentions that he fired Neil Hill and he was sick of giving him his hard-earned money for what he alleged was for nothing. With the success that Bonac has had, it may open the dialogue as to if industry gurus are even worth working with.

HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME OFF AND SOCIAL DISTANCING

by Matt Weik

If you’re reading this article at the time that it was published, you’re probably sitting in your home in isolation practicing social distancing – or whatever ridiculous term they want to call it. Your current joy is telling everyone your cool activities for the day. Like going to the living room to read a book, later in the day venturing out to the back patio for some fresh air because you’re feeling rebellious. So, what do you do in times like these where the Coronavirus has caused many businesses to close and you’re supposed to figure out how to make the most of your time off? I have a few ideas that will help you come out of this self-quarantine (AKA, come close to me and I’ll be forced to throat-punch you) a better person.

GYMS, RESTAURANTS, AND SUPERMARKETS…

by Christian Duque

It seems the Coronavirus has had a severe impact, not only on our normal way of life, but in some of the basic elements therein. For example, all gyms where I live, closed effective Wednesday at 5PM. They didn’t close for the day – they closed indefinitely. Where will gym goers go to train? How will gym owners earn a profit to stay in business? Will their bills be suspended while this pandemic gets addressed? These are all fine questions and valid concerns, and the government really doesn’t have any concrete answers.
